Words and Images is a trip that had as an objective of learning about New Mexican indigenous and non-indigenous arts and the purpose of them in the different pueblos. In this trip, we visited the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Meow Wolf, the Museum of Folk art, The Ghost Ranch and other museums, as well as local people’s houses and check their homemade arts. In this trip, I was not only able to learn more about New Mexican Art, but I was also able to learn more about myself. One thing that called my attention while we visited a Pueblo museum is the fact that they explained that the museum was not enough to sustain themselves in the present days. For this reason, they owned a casino which was the main source of money. They also acknowledged the implications of gambling and how they also have a place in which people could get help to stop the addition.
